Installation, licence keys, and the handful of things that actually go wrong.
Install
Run the installer and close your DAW first — Windows cannot replace a plugin while it is loaded.
First launch
Open the Standalone app before your DAW. It confirms the audio device works without a session in the way.
Updates
VoxBrain checks by itself and tells you when one is ready. Updates are free for the life of the licence.
Common problems
My DAW does not see the plugin
Rescan your plugin folders — most DAWs only scan at startup. Check that C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\VoxBrain.vst3 exists. A 32-bit DAW will not load it; there is no 32-bit build.
Windows says the installer is unrecognised
SmartScreen shows that for any installer without an expensive code-signing certificate. Click More info, then Run anyway. Ask us for the file hash if you would rather verify it first.
Where is my licence key?
Emailed the moment payment clears, to the address you used at checkout. Check spam, then ask us to resend it — the email address is enough, no order number needed.
How many machines can I install on?
Two that you own. Moving to a new machine is fine; tell us so the old one is released.
