Terms

What you get when you buy VoxBrain, and what we ask in return.

Last updated 2026. Written in plain language on purpose. A solid starting point, not a substitute for advice from a lawyer in your jurisdiction — have it reviewed before you trade at volume.

The licence

Buying VoxBrain gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the software. You own the licence; the software remains the property of EHawkAudio.

One licence covers up to two machines that you own or control. Moving to a new machine is fine — contact us and the old one is released.

What you may do

Use VoxBrain on commercial work with no extra fee and no royalty. Records you make with it are entirely yours.

Install on both of your machines, and reinstall as often as you need.

What you may not do

Share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key, or distribute the installer.

Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to defeat the licensing, except where local law expressly permits it.

Updates

Updates are included for the life of the licence at no extra cost. We do not promise a schedule, and we may change or remove features — though we try hard not to break how you work.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free; keep backups and render safety copies as you would with any plugin.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the licence

If you breach these terms — sharing keys, for instance — we may end the licence. If we end it without cause, you get a refund of what you paid.
